As someone who has had dental “trauma” since the age of six, I’ve always feared any dentist. Which lead me to neglect the dentist for many years, which I know, is not good and only makes things worse for those that can relate. And the different dentists that I did see over the past 5 decades, botched me or did things that I didn’t need that brought on other issues for me down the road, due to their limited knowledge and or technology at the time. Let me just say, Dr. Colgan and his staff restored my faith in dentistry again. He and his staff are amazing and they really make you feel at ease and very comfortable. They were very informative and explained everything that needed to be done in detail and answered any questions that I had, which really put me at ease and made me feel like.... I was in really good hands here. The procedures that I had were a bone graft, a sinus lift and two implants put in to restore a botched bridge that I’ve had since the 90’s. The procedure went very well and I had no pain and very little swelling/ bruising afterwards. The staff always called to confirm my appointment the day prior and Dr. Colgan himself called to follow-up the day of the surgery to see how I was afterwards. WOW. I was blown away. I just finished my follow-up with the good doctor and look forward to seeing him again in a few months to finish up what we started. Bottom line is, I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Andrew Colgan and his staff. But, just know that you'll be in good hands here.

Do not hesitate to utilize Dr. Colgan and his office for your dental surgical or implant needs. I never had ANY pain from any procedure and you consistently felt I was in the hands of an exceptionally skilled and caring surgeon. I also felt like I was given individualized/personal treatment and aftercare. I was treated like a person; not just another patient. I felt my needs and concerns were always given sincere thought and resolution.

Recent lower molar extraction. I was extremely impressed with the Vero Surgical Arts staff, and especially Dr. Colgan. The tooth was crowned and cracked which added complexity and difficulty to the extraction, yet there was never a single issue of pain during the procedure, or even now, days afterward. I took one pain pill a couple of hours after the surgery, not due to any pain, but as a precaution and that was it. I was amazed! The office and operating rooms are immaculate and Dr. Colgan and his assistants are very informative, before, during, and after the procedure. It made for a very positive experience. I highly recommend Vero Surgical Arts.

My extraction of a wisdom tooth was more complicated them most. Dr. Colgan explained the procedure in great detail. My surgery went very well, and my recovery time went a lot quicker than I expected.

I met Dr. Colgan and his staff in November of 2020. Needing (4) wisdom teeth extracted and then dental implants it has been several appointments with completion in November of 2021. Throughout the entire process Dr. Colgan and his excellent staff provided ease of scheduling appointments, to calling in medications, to explaining post operation procedures clearly. Prior to any procedure Dr. Colgan explains clearly and with use of dental images exactly what needs to be done. He takes as much time as you need and answered any and all questions I had. Going to a dental surgeon is a scary time for all of us but I am glad I was recommended to Dr. Colgan and would and have recommended him to family. His office is very easy to get to with plenty of parking onsite.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Colgan , his staff, and the services that I received. I had to have a number of oral surgical procedures done . I was obviously apprehensive , and Dr. Colgan could not have put me more at ease with his amazing calm demeanor and understanding. His surgical staff was also amazing , and helped me get through what I thought was going to be a horrible experience, which turned out to be quite the opposite . I mean , who wants to have to go to an oral surgeon, but if you have to go, I was blessed to have found Dr. Colgan's practice. And I am the most terrified dental patient on this planet !!

My experience with Dr. Colgan's office and all his staff was by far a lot easier than I thought it would. There is always a fear of the unknown but all was explained to me. Dr. Colgan is by far the best. My procedures were difficult including bone grafts. There was no pain. And healing was not painful. I have recommended him. And if the need happened I would go back to him in a New York minute. His office staff is also the best, Thanks to all of you!!!

When I came to Dr. Colgan I was very scared and also my teeth where in very bad shape. He took me back to his office explained every surgery that he was going to preform in detail along with all follow up care after. He made me feel at ease and that he honestly cared about me and my well being. He preformed upper and lower implant surgery and he was absolutely amazing. He has a very gentle touch and both surgeries were very easy and pain free. After care also was easy. Very minimal bruising and I did not need to take one prescribed pain pill. Dr. Colgan and staff are doing state of the art dental work and giving people like me a beautiful confident smile back!!! From start to finish he and his staff have taken amazing care of me and I would strongly recommend him to anyone!!!!

I had my tooth removed, my implant placed along with the healing abutment all in one surgery!! I had absolutely no pain at all afterwards. Today I had a digital impression so that my dentist can restore my implant. I didn't have to have that gross impression with the goop since Dr. Colgan was able to scan it for me. The entire process has taken only 3 months total from start to finish. I have had other implants in another state and Dr. Colgan's process was so much faster and simpler!! I would highly recommend Dr. Colgan, he is excellent!

THEY EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE VERY WELL AND IT WAS NOT PAINFUL AT ALL. THEY GAVE ME GOOD MEDICINES AFTERWARDS AND TOLD ME HOW TO RECOVER WELL. I THINK I FOUND THE BEST PLACE IN VERO TO GET MY WISDOM TEETH REMOVED!

Generally I have trepidation when seeing a dentist. However, Dr Colgan and his staff are awesome and did a great job easing mu fears. The implant process was quite extensive but never in the several months of the process did I experience any pain or problems for which I will be forever grateful!!!

My teenage daughter needed her impacted wisdom teeth removed. We had heard so many bad stories, so I decided to look into other oral surgeons in our area. I found Dr. Colgan through his website and checked his reviews. They were all very good so we scheduled an appointment, they could not have been any nicer to us. My daughter was extremely nervous about the procedure, but we had a very easy and 100% positive experience. They told us exactly what to expect & what to do, and we had zero problems. I actually enjoyed my entire dental implant experience (not my first, by the way) from the moment I made an appointment...unusual for dental procedures, for sure! I'd had the problem tooth extracted elsewhere, and I was in quite a bit of pain during and for days after the procedure, and dreading the next steps. In contrast, Dr. Colgan did a more difficult tooth extraction and I had no pain during the process or afterwards. Dr. Colgan and staff clearly explained the process and what to expect, step-by-step, for the actual implant. He also said that he could do an extraction and the initial implant procedure in one day, something I've never even heard of before, but will definitely take advantage of next time! Office staff are smart and efficient, too, and that makes a huge difference in the patient's total experience. I recommend Dr. Colgan, a very gifted and personable oral surgeon, without reservation. We are very lucky to have him in Indian River County!
